Leave it to Beavers: Ivan Jakofski

My name is Ivan Jakofski and I work for Upper Advertising.  It is a private company and handles special clients.  I was given the task of promoting StarDreamers.  StarDreamers is a website for escorts.  I knew nothing about the escort or sex industry except that it is extremely popular and unpopular at the same time.  In other words, I was starting from scratch.  The StarDreamers website works very much like a dating website.  Create a profile, submit pics, chat, etc.  There are hundreds if not thousands of websites and apps offering the same services.  I have to come up with some plan to make StarDreamers unique and have it stand out amongst all the numerous other sites.  And I know nothing about escorts.  So that is where I had to start.

I began by simply interviewing escorts.  At least, I thought it would be simple.  Was I wrong.  There are no standards or parameters or guidelines in the industry.  Generally, escorts advertise on, again, numerous sites displaying seductive photos and outlining the services they provide.  Thousands and thousands, if not millions and millions, of escorts all competing in an effort to make money selling sex.  Now, I had to think about that and attempt to put it in context.  Millions and millions of individuals selling a single service.  There is that.  And it seemed like all I was doing was interviews for months and months trying to gain some understanding of the escort industry.  What I discovered was that, even though they may be selling a single service being sex, they are ALL unique.  And it goes far beyond mere physical differences.  They all have different reasons for being escorts.  What they do and how they conduct their business varies all over the map.  And yet I found there was one common element they all seemed to share.  No organization.  No coalition.  No defined set of parameters that they were governed by.  And without organization, they were vulnerable.

I pondered this vulnerability for a long time while still going about my interviews.  The biggest question I had was could escorts become organized and how?  I have done enough interviews to know that escorts like their independence.  And it came to me in the wee hours of the morning.  I only needed a small group to lay the foundation.  I came up with the Diamond Club.  It seemed just as good as any other name.  It would be a group of selected escorts within StarDreamers.  An experiment of sorts.  And thus became The Diamond Club Experiment.

I decided, since it was an experiment, that I would only select 3 individuals.  The Diamond Club Experiment began with Aurora, Piper, and Josie.  They loved sex.  And I mean really loved sex.  They also agreed to share their clients and became very supportive of each other.  And yet, they retained their independence.  I had nothing to do with their business other than bringing them together.  And it worked!  They tripled their clients by working together.

I then asked them if they would be interested in doing group photos.  And they readily agreed.  Not being a photographer myself, I ended up having to hire one and that is where Jake came into the picture.  No pun.  The tragic consequences of Jake working with the Diamond Club Experiment I could not have foreseen.  And yet, at the time, it seemed logical from an advertising perspective.

If you have been enjoying the tale or tail of Leave it to Beavers with Jake and Aurora, you can show your support by sharing it with friends and associates.  The story is free and a new segment will be published on the 1st and 15th of each month until it is completed.  I know how this tragic story ends.  You can also show support by creating a free profile on StarDreamers at www.stardreamers.ca

Also, I was asked to add that if there are any artists or graphic designers that wish to illustrate parts of the story they can also post them on their StarDreamers profile.

I hope you will enjoy Leave it to Beavers.
